DOMESTIC WASTE DISPOSAL SITE

The biogas generated by the decay of the organic matter in household refuse is a source of odour problem. It is also a hazard due to the presence of methane, which accounts for 60 % of the biogas composition, gas explosive in the air at a level between 5 and 15 %. Thus it is necessary to prevent its migration out of its place of generation.

We realise studies to determine the gas generation potential so as to implement the suitable action.

Background of the landfill
Taking into account the volume and nature of waste, the operating and years of operation, we can give an estimate of the biogas production.

Investigation in situ
Study of the location, nature of the soil, pluviometry as well as the environment area. We can sharpen the estimate of production.

Study of the air
surface and/or underground pollution which characterises the site, we conceive the equipments, for the drainage, extraction and destruction of biogas and/or leachates, which fit.
